How it works

From first enquiry to your final paper.

  1. 01

    Enquire now

Send me a message with the student's current grade, target and exam board. We can begin straight away — or, if you'd prefer, start with a quick, no-obligation chat first. Either way, if I'm not the right fit I'll say so and suggest alternatives.

  2. 02

    Diagnostic & plan

First paid session is a working diagnostic — this will likely be an exam-style task to identify gaps, plus a conversation about study habits. Students leave with a plan going forward: topics, timings, deliverables.

  3. 03

    Weekly lessons

One-to-one on a shared whiteboard with worked examples, live problem-solving, and exam-style questions. Whiteboards can be saved for students to access at a later date.

  4. 04

    Exam season

During the exam period we shift to full past papers and mark-scheme analysis. Optional extra sessions in the final weeks if useful.

FAQ

Tuition-specific questions.

How are lessons scheduled?

A regular weekly slot, agreed at the start. Calgary mornings line up with UK after-school and evening (typically 3pm – 9pm UK time). Lessons can be moved with reasonable notice; missed lessons without notice are still charged.

What platform do you use?

Google Meet for the call, an interactive whiteboard (through Miro) for worked examples. Students will require a tablet with a pen, or a drawing pad that works with their laptop / PC.

How do payments work?

Payment is due the day before each scheduled lesson. No minimum commitment. Payments are made via bank transfer.

Do you offer group sessions?

Yes, I am happy to consider a group if a student would like to work with a friend. Please get in touch to discuss in more detail.

How many students do you take on?

Typically 12 – 15 active students at a time. Spaces tend to open between exam cycles.

What if it's not working out?

Either side can stop at any time. There's no contract, no notice period, and no cancellation fee. The Enquire now is the right place to flag concerns before money changes hands.
