Service provider
Whiteboard Chemistry is operated by Joe White, an individual chemistry tutor. These terms apply to all tuition services delivered online.
Lessons and scheduling
Lessons are delivered online via Google Meet. A regular weekly slot is agreed at the start of each tutoring relationship. Lessons may be rescheduled with reasonable notice (at least 24 hours). Missed lessons without adequate notice will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
Fees and payment
Tuition is charged at the agreed hourly rate — from £60/hr for GCSE and from £70/hr for A-Level. Payment must be received no later than the day before each scheduled lesson, by UK bank transfer (BACS) or Wise. No minimum commitment applies.
Cancellation
Either party may end the tutoring relationship at any time. No notice period or cancellation fee applies beyond lessons already invoiced.

Liability
Whiteboard Chemistry makes no guarantee of specific examination results. Tuition is provided in good faith and to a professional standard; outcomes depend on many factors outside the tutor's control, including the student's effort and exam board marking.
The practice platform
These terms also cover the practice platform at whiteboardchemistry.com/practice. They are written to be read, not skimmed; if anything here is unclear, ask.
Your account
An account needs an email address and nothing else. You must be thirteen or over. One account per person, and your sign-in codes are yours alone — do not share them.
The Free plan
Free gives you every skill and every question type, twelve questions a day, each marked with a worked solution and a mark scheme, and your progress saved across your devices. Free stays free.
The Full plan
Full removes the daily limit and adds a session built for you each day, spaced review, and timed papers with a grade range. It costs £4.99 a month or £39 a year, including VAT where it applies. A new account has Full for its first seven days with no card and no charge; when that week ends the account becomes Free — never a bill.
Paying
Payments are taken by Paddle.com, the seller of record for the Full plan. Paddle’s terms of sale apply to the purchase itself, and Paddle charges and remits the tax due where you live. Your card details go to Paddle and never to us.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time through Manage subscription on your account page. You keep Full until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged.
Within fourteen days of a first payment you can cancel for a full refund, through Manage subscription or by email — no questions asked. Because Full starts the moment you pay, consumer law allows a seller to treat that as your agreement to begin before the fourteen days are up; we do not rely on that. The fourteen-day refund stands.
Marking
Every question and every mark scheme on the platform is written by us, to the standard of the specification the course follows. If you think a mark is not right, report it from the question; a person reads every report.
Availability and changes
The platform is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running but do not promise uninterrupted service, and question content and features change over time. These terms may change too; the date at the top says when they last did.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without taking away any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
